The Reverend
Dr. H Timothy Halverson has been the Pastor and Head of
Staff at Faith since 1997. Prior to coming to Florida, he
was the pastor of churches in Pennsylvania (Watsontown), Ohio
(Kent), and Illinois (LaGrange). Tim is a graduate of Muskingum
College, Yale University Divinity School (where he was a Rockefeller
Fellow) and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer
Seminary). In 1992, Tim was chosen to be a Merrill Fellow
at Harvard University. Tim and his wife, Martha, have seven
children, of whom only Ted is still at home, and four grandchildren.
After years of helping all the children with homework, Martha
decided to use her training in art and design by operating
her own company, Martha's Homework. |

David Uhl |
|

|
|
|
The Reverend Dr. David Uhl was recently honorably retired as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Before joining Faith he served for three years as the designated pastor at Chapel By the Sea, Ft. Myers Beach. Previous to the Chapel, he was the Interim Pastor at Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church, Ft. Myers. David has also just completed a term as Moderator of the Committee on Ministry for Peace River Presbytery. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, David has served as Head of Staff for churches in Texas, Maryland and New York. David’s graduate studies have been in the field of the Old Testament; his primary responsibilities at Faith, in addition to pastoral care, will be to help Pastor Tim with teaching and preaching responsibilities. |

Reverend
Sally Bull |
|
|
|
|
|
The Reverend
Sally Bull is a resident of Fort Myers. She and her
husband, Dick Dutton, moved to this area when Sally retired
as pastor of Okeechobee (FL) Presbyterian Church at the end
of 2005. She previously served a church in Marietta, Ohio. Sally is a graduate of Indiana University,
having received both a BA in sociology and psychology, and
an MS in elementary education. She taught at Ball State University
in Muncie, Indiana, then worked in the Fort Wayne, Indiana,
business community for twenty years. While an active member
at First Presbyterian in Fort Wayne, she heard God's call
to additional service. Sally is a 2000 graduate of Louisville
Presbyterian Theological seminary. Sally serves as Parish Associate. Both Sally
and Dick are looking forward to being part of a large and
growing congregation. |

Reverend
Leon Jeffords |

|
|
The Reverend
Leon Jeffords was, until his retirement in 1998, the Senior
Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Douglasville, Georgia,
where he served for over 29 years. He has served here at Faith
each year since 2000 as a part-time member of the staff during
the winter season. He works primarily as an assistant to the
Senior Pastor in many different areas in the life of Faith
Church. Leon is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton,
South Carolina, and Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur,
Georgia. He and his wife, Betty, have three married daughters
and four wonderful grandchildren. They remain residents of
Douglasville when they are not "wintering" in Cape
Coral. |

Michael Helman |
|
|
|
|
|
Michael
Helman joined the staff of Faith in February 2006. He
came to Cape Coral from Wilmington, Delaware, where he directed
a graded bell and choir program at St. Paul's United Methodist
Church for the past 15 years. A native of Lancaster County,
Pennsylvania, Michael lived in Wilmington for the past 25
years. Michael is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College with
a degree in organ performance and West Chester University.
A composer of handbell, organ, and choral music, Michael has
over 110 pieces of music in print and is in demand as a handbell

Nancy
Exline |
|

|
| |
|
Nancy
Exline, the Director of Christian Education and Youth
Ministries, is originally from the Chicago area. She earned
a BS degree in Business and Marketing from Eastern Illinois
University. Nancy has 18 years of experience in education,
including fourteen in Christian Education. Nancy and her husband,
Mark, reside in Fort Myers. They have two children, Justin
and Meghan. Nancy oversees the children and youth ministries
here at Faith. Her main focus is to have all the children
and youth more involved in worship, ministry, and missions. |

Karla
McKelvey |
|
|
|
| |
|
Karla
McKelvey joined the staff of Faith Presbyterian in 2003
as Business Administrator. She and her husband, Dave, moved
to Florida from Michigan four years ago. Karla is a graduate
of Adrian College and has 20 years experience in church business
administration. As Business Administrator, Karla oversees
financial matters, facilities management, as well as the coordination
and communication with committees. She and her husband are
the parents of three children and two (beautiful) grandchildren.

Rita Sockman |
|
|
|
|
|
Rita Sockman, the Director of the Family of
Faith Christian Academy, is originally from Iowa. She is currently
attending college to receive her BA in Early Childhood Education.
Rita has been trained in Montessori, and has ten years of
experience in early childhood education. Rita and her husband
Roger currently reside in Cape Coral. They have one child,
Ellen Ann. They belong to Faith Presbyterian church. She has
previous experience as a preschool director at two centers
in Tallahassee, Florida, and one center in Estero, Florida.
Rita chose this profession because of her passion, care, and
loving commitment to God's children. |
