General Information
Family of Faith Christian Academy was established in 1992
as a year-round, church affiliated, child care and pre-school
education center. We are fully licensed and dedicated to providing
the highest quality care and education for your child. We
understand that the most important years for your child's
educational, social, and spiritual development are between
six weeks and five years of age. It is our goal to provide
all children with a feeling of acceptance, love, and security
as they begin their educational enrichment. All of our staff
members are experienced in early childhood development and
education. We are dedicated to providing the academic, emotional,
physical, and spiritual well-being required by every child
during these important formative years.

Mission Statement:
The greatest act of love we can
perform is to teach our children about God's love for everyone
in Christ and to foster patience and kindness toward all.
Philosophy
The philosophy of Family of Faith Christian Academy is to
foster Christian values in a structured framework of creative
learning and active play and to assist children in becoming
independent thinkers, problem solvers, and life-long learners.
Curriculum & Programs
Family of Faith Christian Academy has adopted Teaching Strategies’,
“Creative Curriculum,” for our use. We survey
nature, seasons, holidays, and many other interesting topics
regarding the world about us and integrate them into this
curriculum. Signing and Spanish languages are taught. Spiritual
development through the use of Bible stories is also provided.
Program Goals
- To provide a Christian environment in which to learn and
develop through real life experiences and to furnish a loving
and caring example by teachers and staff.
- To provide a safe, secure, and caring environment for
all children under our care.
- To allow children to learn through structured play; to
develop spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally,
intellectually, and artistically into a whole person of
God in a Christian-based environment.
- To develop a mutually supportive relationship between
families and the Academy in order to provide a firm foundation
for your child's experiences, development, and growth.
Lunch
Because children vary in their nutritional preferences, we
ask parents to provide a balanced lunch for their child. The
Academy will provide juice and a snack twice a day, morning
and afternoon.
Staff
All employees of Family
of Faith have been thoroughly screened by the State of Florida.
Teaching personnel have state certification in child care
and early childhood development. They attend required in-service
training and renew their CPR and First Aid training annually.
We encourage all personnel to further their child care and
early childhood development education wherever and whenever
possible.
